The Holes Bay Walk 2026
Our main fundraising event, the Holes Bay Walk, will take place on Saturday 11th July 2026. Following the opening of the new building at St John’s College, Wau in 2025 and the completion of the Water Project this year, we still need to keep raising money to support the college’s day-to-day work, sending £18,000 per year towards teaching staff salaries and running costs, as well as helping with other needs in Wau. It is a wonderful event, enabling you to experience an attractive mix of shoreline, townscape and woodland in the company of other PWP supporters. Please consider either taking part yourself or sponsoring another walker. If you don’t know anyone who is doing the walk, you can still send us a donation.
You can choose between two routes, 7 miles around Holes Bay, or a more relaxed 3 miles in Upton Country Park.

Prayer Meetings
- We hold Prayer Meetings monthly, normally on the first Monday in the month. The venue for the meetings varies as we try to rotate the venue amongst churches in different parts of the Deanery: we are grateful for the kind hospitality of deanery churches which host these meetings.
- Our next prayer meeting is on Monday 6th July 2026 at St Dunstan's Church, Poole Road, Upton, Poole BH16 5JA from 1230 to 1315 (arrive from 1215). There is a large church car park, which is shared with the Community Centre. Tea and coffee will be provided; please bring your own packed lunch if you would like to. A reminder will be emailed to our supporters and to Deanery churches.

- August: no Prayer Meeting.
- Monday 7th September 2026, 1230-1315: St John's, Broadstone.
- Monday 5th October 2026, 1230-1315: St Clement's, Poole.
- Monday 2nd November 2026, 1230-1315: St George's, Oakdale.
