Open Garden Events
On Sunday 26th June, from 1400 to 1700, there will be a National Garden Scheme Open Garden event at 24A Western Avenue, Branksome Park, Poole. There is an entry charge of £5 (which does not go to PWP) and another charity will be providing refreshments, but Judy Hudson will be selling her wonderful jams and chutneys, and proceeds will be shared between that charity and PWP.
On Sunday 7th August, from 1400 to 1700, the same garden will again be open and this time Judy will be providing both the refreshments (with help from St Luke’s, Parkstone and others) and jams & chutneys for sale. Proceeds will go to PWP from both the refreshments and jams/chutneys at this event. More details about this beautiful garden here: https://findagarden.ngs.org.uk/garden/13014/western-gardens

Holes Bay Challenge
Saturday 9th July 2022: For the first time since 2019, we will be running the walk with all participants walking the course on the same morning, setting off from and finishing at St Dunstan's Church, Upton, where lunch will be available at the end of the walk. There will be a refreshment stop at St James's Church, Poole. Further details were published in Newsletter 54, and an Information Sheet and Sponsor Form are downloadable from the dedicated 'Walk' page on this website: https://www.poolewaupartnership.com/walk.html

Visit to Poole by Bishops from South Sudan
We hope that Archbishop Moses, Bishop Joseph and some other bishops from South Sudan, will be able to visit Poole from 8th to 12th August 2022. Details are still to be finalised, but the Salisbury-Sudans Link Committee is working on a plan to enable the bishops to visit the diocese and linked deaneries including Poole and North Bournemouth after the Lambeth Conference. More details will be announced nearer the time.
